This Rear Angel View® camera with artificial intelligence from CARGUARD Systems can recognise people in real time, distinguish them from other moving objects and other obstacles and reliably warn the driver via an alarming loudspeaker, which is available as an option. A monitor connection is also available. Alternatively, warnings can be issued via the optional monitor loudspeaker. The operator can choose whether to be warned only of collisions with people or also of vehicles in a freely definable area, thus avoiding unnecessary alarms for other object classes. This artificial intelligence runs on the camera in a space-saving manner, without additional hardware, and it enables a daylight, crystal-clear 1080p view even at night, which means that the detection rate is almost 100%. The hindsight is phenomenal.

Without this system, people can only be recognised by chance or too late due to blind spots.

• Quick and easy configuration via smartphone allows you to customise the 3 freely definable detection zones by dragging your finger on the camera image.
• The camera can be used as an effective alarm sensor against fuel theft, which only warns of thieves approaching the parked construction machinery at night.
• You can pre-select between 5 basic shapes to ensure that the surveillance area exactly matches your application: The trapezoidal shape is best suited for monitoring the rear of road vehicles, as the lane can be precisely demarcated.
• The semi-circular shape is best suited for an excavator on a construction site.
• The elliptical shape, if you want to adapt the monitoring area exactly to the curves of a construction machine.
• With the rectangular shape, you can monitor along the side of the vehicle and use the system as a turning assistance system. For this, you need an optional GPS module so that the warning only occurs at low speed.
• An alarm can be issued immediately via a trigger output when workers are detected, which automatically interrupts the power connections so that hydraulic booms or vehicles, for example, come to a standstill and accidents are avoided.
