The Dortmund-based company CARGUARD Technologies specialises in the manufacture and sale of vehicle accessories, vehicle camera systems and navigation devices for trucks, buses and motorhomes. For over 25 years, our founder Jens Bergemann has specialised in the manufacture and sale of vehicle accessories. Navigation systems were first registered as a figurative mark in 2003. That's why we need you:

We are looking for support from full-time employees, working students, trainees and interns for projects as part of an internship semester, for research projects, Bachelor's/Master's theses as well as long-term collaboration in our company as a product manager, technical support for dealers, industrial customers and commercial users, product consulting and configuration of customised product applications. Essentially, we are looking for support for our extensive vehicle camera programme, for which we are striving for market leadership. In addition to the possibility of connecting to our navigation systems and monitors, we would like to expand the interfaces to standard OEM infotainment systems in order to have solutions available in all conceivable vehicle categories. We also want to expand our range of cameras so that we can offer the right model for every application. This ranges from various viewing angles and zoom ranges to additional equipment such as integrated floodlights, cleaning systems, different resolutions, TV standards, mounting adaptations, etc. In addition, camera switchboxes can be used to implement every conceivable customer requirement, including automation and maximisation of occupational safety.

Development of interfaces from our camera products to the current LCD infotainment systems of new vehicle models from various industries mentioned above

Development and configuration of industry-specific camera concepts for special vehicle bodies and types for our marketing, sales and production departments

Development of camera designs, camera mounts, special cable guides for e.g. the lifting unit of forklift trucks or cranes, high-pressure cleaning systems

in the camera housing, windscreen wipers for camera lenses, automatic trailer recognition for camera monitors and switch boxes

Introduction and configuration of a new merchandise management system with connection and communication with the accounting programme and warehousing

incl. creation of procedural instructions and work instructions for all work steps of our employees in sales, order processing, warehousing,

dispatch and repair as a basis for the subsequent introduction of ISO certification
