Functional description:

The Radar Angel View® radar detection system with full HD camera was developed to actively detect obstacles and enables outstanding performance in all weather conditions. Without this system, obstacles can only be detected randomly or too late due to blind spots. The radar systems recognise fixed and moving obstacles in a freely definable area and display them as a crystal-clear 1080p image on the monitor. The operator is reliably warned of approaching objects by an accelerating tone sequence, even in the most adverse construction site conditions with mud, rain and snow.

In conjunction with a Rear Angel HD monitor or standard OEM vehicle monitor and a full HD camera, it can also provide a real-time visual alarm in addition to the audible alarm to warn drivers of potential risks and pedestrians.

For construction machinery and industrial trucks without road approval

To avoid triggering unnecessary alarms outside the vehicle width, the radar monitoring range in public traffic should only be set to the vehicle width

As the monitor has 3 camera inputs, the system can be expanded with front and side cameras and can also be connected to standard OEM navigation systems

By expanding with additional radar and camera units, all-round vision and object detection can be realised for all types of machines

Cameras can be extended, e.g. to provide a view of the container locking bolts
